Join our nature adventure summer camp! We’re an innovative science camp for exploring the wild and discovering the incredible natural world. This program is taught by Rocky Mountain Park Rangers, Naturalists and Environmental Educators.

Our Program
At Rugged Research Nature Camp, we offer the ultimate summer nature experience! Campers will be led by park rangers, naturalists and environmental educators as they explore wondrous and diverse ecosystems, and discover the legendary Rocky Mountains and the wildlife who call them home. Our program takes students to new breathtaking parks, from the summits of the Rocky Mountains to the rolling grasslands of the prairie.
We'll explore them all!
Students will also participate in new and exciting activities every day- from getting wet in streams looking for macroinvertebrates, to tracking bald eagles and moose in the mountains!

Little Rangers
Looking for something for the little ones (ages 3-6)?
-Our 5 day camp takes place at a different Larimer County Open Space each day.
-Camp meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays over a 9 day period.
-Most parks are less than an hour drive from the front range (View map below).
-Camp is a Drop off/ Pick up program (not overnight camp).
-Runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
-Most days will comprise of 1-3 miles worth of hiking on easy to moderate terrain.
